Very nice article:

Some of them are missing under OS X (I especially miss fuser), but the article is quite interesting for us Mac-Addicts, too.
PS: Does anyone know about fuser for OS X?

I don't know fuser, but according to the description, lsof seems similar:
Lsof revision 4.68 lists information about files opened by processes
